for electronics and dance

“Presence < > Absence” is the result of an inspiring collaboration with the Bulgarian choreographer and performer – Stephanie Handjiiska – alumna of the London Contemporary Dance School. This project was a part of the Music Collaborations between LCDS and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

This piece is a research about how we perceive music and movement individually, each in a different way. It is an artistic dialogue where the Music and the Dance become equal characters. “Presence < > Absence” explores the relationship between these two art forms – how they affect each other in terms of their presence and absence.
